The safety of personnel working underground is constantly being monitored and addressed by Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) directives. Significant effort and planning is taken into account when considering possible emergency situations. Locating employees in a timely manner is crucial. A primary feature of the WATCHERMINE solution is that it significantly improves personnel safety. It ensures the highly effecient handling of evacuation situations an increases safety in day to day operations.
Alarms that notify in the event of an illegal entrance, fire, or when the equipment has moved outside a designated zone can be automated and activated directly from the user interface. Critical equipment can be individually traced enabling efficient localisation of production material. Service intervals can be registered and monitored on all equipment and can include vehicle waste gas, exhaust testing dates registered on each individual truck.
Completely wireless, the WATCHERMINE system eliminates the need for personnel to swipe cards or register. Once an employee or visitor has passed through a check point carrying an active RFID card, all relevant data as well as ongoing location verification is instantly available. The active RFID cards are unobtrusive, and easily attach to a belt, pocket and equipment. Virtually any system can be connected to WATCHERMINE. All modules are seamlessly integrated with the basic package so that you only need one program.

IDENTEC SOLUTIONS offers a complete and scalable safety solution for all different types of buildings. The WATCHERBUILDING system uses active RFID tags that are worn onsite by personnel, guests, contractors and mounted on equipment and valuable assets
The RFID tags are easily clipped to a pocket or belt and attached to equipment.
The building can be divided into different zones to enable a natural division of the area, i.e. All external zones, rooms and entrances can be defined as separate zones. All personnel would be tracked in real time so that an operator would have instant access to how many people are in a defined zone. There is no limit to the number of zones that can be set up, allowing for the further possibility of alarms in the event of a zone security breach or equipment moved outside a specific area.
